Celestron Focus Motor controls focus, which is one of the highest-leverage parts of an imaging rig. Electronic focus makes autofocus after temperature shifts, filter changes, and meridian flips practical.
Check mechanical compatibility, drawtube travel, load capacity, backlash, software support, and available adapters before buying. A focuser that fits poorly can add tilt or slip under camera weight.
