Celestron StarSense AutoAlign uses a small alignment camera and hand-control workflow to solve the sky and build the mount model automatically. It is a convenience upgrade for compatible GoTo systems, especially outreach or backyard sessions.
For long-exposure astrophotography it does not replace polar alignment, guiding, or a robust equatorial mount. Treat it as an alignment helper, not an imaging performance upgrade.
