Astrophotography Fit

A portable tracking platform for lenses, small refractors, and travel sessions.

Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i Photo Package is a midrange portable star tracker for portable tracking.

Trackers are at their best with wide lenses and short telephotos, where polar alignment and balance are manageable and small periodic error is not magnified too aggressively.

Best paired with

DSLR or mirrorless cameras with wide to short-telephoto lenses
Small ball head or lightweight declination bracket
Short exposures, careful polar alignment, and travel power

Not recommended for

Long focal length telescopes or heavy cooled-camera trains
Automated meridian-flip deep-sky sessions without GoTo support
Windy nights where a light tripod will dominate tracking error
